Originally a Michigan Yooper, Rachel’s dominant childhood memory is one of sitting in ice rinks and gobbling up library books during her brother’s countless hockey games. After a decade working at Google, she now fills her days writing big stories and wiping little noses in Los Angeles, and if she had free time, she’d spend it reading the giant pile of books by her bed, rewatching Battlestar Galactica, and daydreaming about all the cakes she’d like to bake.
