Originally from Northern Wisconsin, Alyssa Batchelder grew up on vast lakes and in dark forests that fueled her love of folklore and horror. She enjoys staying up late reading and writing spooky books, especially those with a dash of romance. You’ll often find her trying to cook the too-many tomatoes she planted in her garden or hiking the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina where she lives with her husband and their pets.
