Laura Moran knew she loved writing since she was in 3rd grade and turned in a 25 page book report on Abraham Lincoln in crayon.
Laura graduated magna cum laude from the University of Southern California’s prestigious Writing for Screen & Television program. Now a hugely successful television comedy writer, Laura has worked on shows such as How I Met Your Mother, Undateable, Harley Quinn, The Neighborhood, Universal Basic Guys and Going Dutch. She has written jokes for Denis Leary, Max Greenfield, Cedric the Entertainer, Beth Behrs, Tichina Arnold, Danny Pudi, Rory Scovel, Ron Funches, Whitney Cummings, Brent Morin, Emily Heller, John C. McGinley, Skylar Astin, Briga Heelan and many others. In 2020 she and Ted Lasso co-creator Bill Lawrence sold a show to Warner Bros. In 2024, she sold a workplace comedy to CBS. She has been featured on Deadline and in Cosmopolitan and Written By Magazine.
Laura lives in Los Angeles with her two cats, Ray Kinsella and Ace Ventura. Ace recently learned to take selfies.
