Lindsay Howard is originally from the Boston area where she graduated from Emerson College with a degree in Writing, Literature, and Publishing and a minor in Marketing. During college, she interned for a literary agency and worked for three years as a bookseller. Upon graduating from Emerson, Lindsay moved to New York and worked for another three years at Books Are Magic in Brooklyn where she eventually became the store’s Operations Manager. These years of bookselling gave Lindsay a deep understanding of the book publishing industry from the consumer side, which became valuable information as she transitioned into the agency realm. Lindsay loves autumn, tea, and collecting vinyl records—and is obsessed with her black cat, Winnie. Her reading taste skews mostly towards fiction, with a strong preference for books with authentic, complex female relationships and spooky, mystical elements.
